The Challenge
Backfat measurements done manually with a device for measuring backfat is very time-consuming and often very difficult to carry out after insertion into ESF. Very often manual backfat measurements are done through visual assesment of each sow. The visual assesment is insufficient at best, and the large sow can easily turn out to be very muscular, which is why the visual assessment can lead to very uneven body condition among the sows.

How OmniFeed Pro works

Advanced 3D Sensor Technology
Every 14 days, the sow's body condition will be evaluated, and the feed curve will be automatically adjusted in your feed computer and management system. The goal is to ease the work in the barn and ensure greater precision for the benefit of the sow and the barn staff.OmniFeed Pro is a fully automatic system that requires no interaction or consideration from the user, seamlessly integrating with existing ESF feeding stations.

Research & Development Partnership
The development of OmniFeed Pro has been carried out in collaboration with the independent Danish research group SEGES Innovation P/S, which has contributed to the data processing of the extensive data. OmniFeedPro was developed over 2 years of research and development at several farms and close to 1.000 sows in Denmark.This extensive testing ensures that our solution is not only innovative but also practical and effective in real-world farming conditions.
